Claustrophobia is common and it can shape everyday choices in ways that feel exhausting to explain to people who don't share it. There are proven, practical ways to feel calm and in control again and this programme walks you through a clear, supportive process at your own pace.

What to expect, step by step

Everything happens by video call, at a pace you set.

  1. A calm, judgement-free first conversation about what's really going on for you

  2. A clear process to get specific about your actual trigger, not just "confined spaces" in general

  3. Practical techniques to help you work with your reaction instead of avoiding the space

Questions people often ask

How many sessions will I need?

Many people notice real change within a small number of focused sessions, though this varies from person to person.

Do sessions happen online?

Yes, sessions are held online by video call, so you can take part from home.

Is this the same as fear of being trapped?

Not quite. Claustrophobia is about the space itself, while fear of being trapped (cleithrophobia) is about not being able to escape. They're often confused and some people experience both. Either way, this is something I can help with.

£150 per session. Most people work with me over 4–6 sessions. Your first consultation is free.
